I always knew I had a face for radio. I took me four fun years at MSN to realize that I also have a voice for print.

Bob Pearson Returns to the Radio! The former WBRS legend will be guest hosting the Jack Ebling show on Tuesday,September 30, on the station where Bob (and most all of us) got our start. The show is on from 5-7 PM on 1320 WILS. It was 1963 when Bob made his commercial broadcast debut on that very frequency. I couldn't find a "listen live" link for WILS. Perhaps Don Allen can provide one for us??

Ah, but John....how good you were on WLS. Growing up in Valpo, I used to listen to you all the time. You and Sirrott were the impetus for me getting involved in radio at State. Of course, I had the perfect voice for mime....

I had some great times at WMSN from about 1969 to 1971. I've been following things on the MSN web site, but sad to say, living in Arkansas has prevented me from making the reunions. Hope to one of these days. Have been back to the MSU campus a few times for conferences in the last ten years. One day I was walking along looking at all the buildings and how many looked the same as they did back in the '60s. I could almost imagine that I was back in time and that all my friends where there on or around the campus. Then I walked by a mirror, looked at it and said to myself: "What's my dad doing here?"

OMG WILS! Eric O Rules! Ya know, I don't know if I still have that. But I think I have an old air check from a WILS remote at the "Jury Rowe Budget Store" a 6 hour furniture commercial I had to do every Sunday afternoon. I do have a couple of WMSN airchecks, circa 1972 when I was on the air as "Chuck Roberts"
